Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

This article reviews the development of child psychology in character education at MI Darul Falah Wirowongso Jember, focusing on grade VI students. The research method used is qualitative with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, presentation, and verification. The results show variations in student character, but in general, sixth grade students show religious, disciplined, and cooperative character. Positive responses from principals, homerooms, religious teachers and parents to children's psychological development in character education were found. Cooperation and transparent communication between educational institutions and guardians play an important role in promoting children's psychological aspects through moral education. The principal implements the school's vision and mission to shape students who have religious, disciplined, honest and caring characters. Support and motivation from internal and external play a significant role in shaping the moral character of students through education.

ABSTRAK

 

Artikel ini mengulas perkembangan psikologi anak dalam pendidikan karakter di MI Darul Falah Wirowongso Jember, terfokus pada siswa kelas VI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mencakup pengumpulan, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil menunjukkan variasi karakter siswa, tetapi secara umum, siswa kelas enam menunjukkan karakter religius, disiplin, dan bergotong royong. Respons positif dari kepala sekolah, wali kelas, guru agama, dan orang tua terhadap perkembangan psikologi anak dalam pendidikan karakter ditemukan. Kerjasama dan komunikasi transparan antara lembaga pendidikan dan wali murid memiliki peran penting dalam memajukan aspek psikologis anak melalui pendidikan moral. Kepala sekolah menerapkan visi dan misi sekolah untuk membentuk peserta didik yang memiliki karakter religius, disiplin, jujur, dan peduli. Dukungan dan motivasi dari internal dan eksternal berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter moral peserta didik melalui pendidikan.
