Allegations of Research Misconduct
Allegations of Research Misconduct
AKSELERASI : Jurnal Pendidikan Guru MI considers credible concerns about research and publication integrity before and after publication. These include suspected fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, unethical research involving participants, manipulated peer review, redundant publication, and material misrepresentation.
Reporting concerns. Reports should be submitted to the editorial office and identify the manuscript or article, describe the concern, and provide supporting evidence. Anonymous reports are considered when sufficient information is available for assessment.
Initial assessment. An editor without a relevant conflict of interest examines the available evidence. An allegation is not treated as proof of wrongdoing. The journal may seek clarification, original records, or explanations from the authors and other relevant parties.
Investigation and cooperation. The journal provides a reasonable opportunity to respond and handles information confidentially as far as practicable. Where formal fact-finding is necessary, it may contact the relevant institution, funder, or responsible body. Editorial processing may be paused while concerns are assessed.
Outcomes. Depending on the evidence, the journal may take no action, request clarification or revision, reject a submission, or publish a correction, expression of concern, or retraction. Action concerning a published article focuses on the reliability of the scholarly record.
Concerns involving an editor must be handled by another authorized editor or publisher representative without a relevant conflict. The journal draws on applicable COPE guidance when determining its response.
