FOCUS AND SCOPE
AKSELERASI focuses on the dissemination of original, rigorous, and impactful scholarly works in the field of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Primary School Teacher Education (PGMI/PGSD). The journal publishes articles derived from empirical research, theoretical studies, literature reviews, and critical analyses that contribute to the development of knowledge, policy, and best practices in Islamic and general primary education.
The scope of AKSELERASI covers a wide range of issues related to learning and education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Primary School levels, including teaching strategies, instructional approaches, and learning methods; curriculum design, development, and evaluation; learning innovations and instructional models; as well as studies on children’s cognitive, social, emotional, moral, and spiritual development. The journal also accommodates research on educational technology, digital learning, and instructional media, along with discussions on educational theories, concepts, and practices in children’s education from both general and Islamic perspectives.
Furthermore, AKSELERASI welcomes scholarly works on Islamic perspectives in children’s education, particularly those related to values education, character building, and ethical development. The journal also emphasizes research on teacher competence, professionalism, and professional development; educational psychology of children; educational management and leadership in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and primary schools; and the development and management of educational facilities and infrastructure. Critical analyses of contemporary issues, challenges, and alternative solutions in MI/SD education, as well as studies examining the thoughts and contributions of influential educational figures, are also within the journal’s scope.
