REVIEW PROCESS
The review process follows a double-blind review policy, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous. Decisions regarding publication, revisions, or rejection are based on the reviewers’ reports and recommendations. During the review process, reviewers evaluate the appropriateness of the title, abstract, discussion (findings), and conclusion. Additionally, reviewers assess the novelty, scientific impact, and references used in the article.
A minimum of two reviewers will review all submitted manuscripts, and the review results will be published upon approval by the editorial board.
This journal follows a systematic review and publication policy:
Step 1:
Manuscripts are acknowledged within 12–24 hours after submission.
Step 2:
The manuscript is sent to a reviewer without including the author’s name and affiliation. The review process takes a maximum of two weeks.
Step 3:
Review reports are collected from reviewers, and the editor sends the review reports to the author along with all terms and conditions for publication.
Step 4:
If the manuscript is conditionally accepted for revision, the editor will send the reviewer’s report to the corresponding author along with a formal request to revise the manuscript within seven days according to the reviewer’s suggestions. The editor will then send the revised manuscript to the same reviewer for re-evaluation. If the manuscript is returned again by the reviewer, it will be considered rejected, and the journal will not proceed further with the manuscript. However, in cases of minor revisions, the editorial board may consider allowing further revisions.
Step 5:
Accepted manuscripts will be processed for publication (soft copy) after meeting all journal requirements.
Step 6:
Proofreading. The editor will send the formatted manuscript (MS Word) to the corresponding author for proofreading.
Step 7:
The manuscript will be published online first. The editor will notify the author(s) about the online publication along with the necessary download link. The corresponding author may request corrections (if any significant changes are needed) within one week after online publication.
Step 8:
The journal will be printed within one to two weeks after the online publication.
Step 9:
The Editor-in-Chief will request the corresponding author to provide a complete and accurate mailing address (including postal code) within one week after print publication.
Step 10:
The Editor-in-Chief will send the hard copy of the AKSELERASI journal to the author, if possible, within one or two months after the print publication.
