Abstract

ABSTRACT

Scientific literacy is an essential competency that needs to be developed in elementary school students through well-planned and systematic science learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of science learning administration in improving students’ scientific literacy at SDN 1 Panji Situbondo. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research subjects consisted of the principal, classroom teachers, and students involved in science learning. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that science learning administration was implemented through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, teachers prepared learning tools including learning objectives, teaching methods, and assessment instruments that support scientific literacy. In the implementation stage, learning activities were conducted through group discussions, simple experiments, and the use of learning media. Meanwhile, evaluation was carried out through knowledge, skills, and attitude assessments. The implementation of learning administration contributed positively to improving students’ scientific literacy. Therefore, effective learning administration plays an important role in supporting the success of science learning in elementary schools.

ABSTRAK

Literasi sains merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dikembangkan pada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pembelajaran IPA yang terencana dan sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi administrasi pembelajaran IPA dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa di SDN 1 Panji Situbondo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan siswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi pembelajaran IPA telah dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang memuat tujuan pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, serta instrumen penilaian yang mendukung literasi sains. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, pembelajaran dilakukan melalui diskusi kelompok, eksperimen sederhana, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Sementara itu, evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap siswa. Implementasi administrasi pembelajaran tersebut memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa. Oleh karena itu, administrasi pembelajaran yang baik sangat penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.
