ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the application of project-based learning model (PjBL) in MI / SD local language courses in developing the creativity of PGMI UIN Kh. Achmad Siddiq This research focuses on the application of PjBL in developing students' creativity, especially in MI / SD regional language classes. The approach adopted is qualitative-descriptive. The research was conducted on students of 3rd semester D3 class, majoring in PGMI, who were enrolled in MI / SD Regional Language course. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, and then analysed using triangulation techniques and sources to achieve data validity. The results showed that the use of PjBL encouraged students to be more creative, active and collaborative. Students are able to integrate creativity with the preservation of local culture, producing products that are educational and authentic. In addition, the project increased motivation to learn, technological skills and pride in cultural identity. This research supports the importance of using PjBL as an innovative strategy in higher education to develop 21st century skills, strengthen love for local culture, and increase the relevance of learning to practical needs.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) pada mata kuliah bahasa daerah MI/SD dalam mengembangkan kreativitas mahasiswa PGMI UIN Kh. Achmad Siddiq Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan PjBL dalam mengembangkan kreativitas mahasiswa terutama pada perkuliahan Bahasa Daerah MI/SD. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa kelas D3 semester 3 jurusan PGMI yang mengikuti mata kuliah Bahasa Daerah MI/SD. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik dan sumber triangulasi untuk mencapai validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL mendorong mahasiswa untuk lebih kreatif, aktif, dan kolaboratif. Mahasiswa mampu mengintegrasikan kreativitas dengan pelestarian budaya lokal, menghasilkan produk yang bernilai edukatif dan autentik. Selain itu, proyek ini meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterampilan teknologi, serta rasa bangga terhadap identitas budaya. Penelitian ini mendukung pentingnya penggunaan PjBL sebagai strategi inovatif dalam pendidikan tinggi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, memperkuat kecintaan pada budaya lokal, dan meningkatkan relevansi pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan praktis
