Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze digital media-based English learning administration in improving elementary school students’ competencies at SD Negeri 7 Patokan Situbondo. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of the principal, English teacher, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that digital media-based English learning administration has been implemented through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, teachers utilized digital media such as learning videos, interactive presentations, and digital quiz applications to enhance students’ participation. The findings also indicate improvements in students’ competencies, particularly in vocabulary mastery, reading, listening, and speaking skills. Therefore, integrating digital media in learning administration can improve the quality of English learning in elementary schools.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis administrasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis media digital dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa sekolah dasar di SD Negeri 7 Patokan Situbondo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru bahasa Inggris, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis media digital telah diterapkan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, guru memanfaatkan media digital seperti video pembelajaran, presentasi interaktif, dan aplikasi kuis untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi siswa dalam penguasaan kosakata, kemampuan membaca, mendengar, dan berbicara. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media digital dalam administrasi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar.
