Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

This study analyzes the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in the perspective of Islamic education management, with the aim of integrating Islamic values into modern educational innovation. The method used is library research, which involves collecting data from various written sources. The results showed that Merdeka Belajar Curriculum has a strong relevance to the principles of Islamic education, such as the holistic development of human potential according to the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith. However, challenges such as limited teacher competence, resistance to change, and infrastructure gaps are still obstacles. To overcome this, this research proposes the Independent Learning-Islamic Integration (IMBI) Model which includes three main components: curricular integration, human resource empowerment, and Islamic education ecosystem development. This strategy is expected to create learning that is academically effective, spiritually meaningful, and relevant to the needs of the times. These findings provide theoretical and practical contributions in the development of innovation-based Islamic education, so that it can support the achievement of holistic national education goals.

ABSTRAK


Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dalam perspektif manajemen pendidikan Islam, dengan tujuan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam inovasi pendidikan modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar memiliki relevansi yang kuat dengan prinsip pendidikan Islam, seperti pengembangan potensi manusia secara holistik sesuai ajaran Al-Qur'an dan Hadits. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kesenjangan infrastruktur masih menjadi hambatan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan Model Integrasi Merdeka Belajar-Islam (IMBI) yang mencakup tiga komponen utama: integrasi kurikuler, pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia, dan pengembangan ekosistem pendidikan Islam. Strategi ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif secara akademis, bermakna secara spiritual, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis inovasi, sehingga dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan nasional yang holistik.
